Greg Raposo, born
May 3, 1985, in Manhasset, New York, is an American pop singer, dancer,
and actor. He has performed in various Broadway shows and guest-starred
in All My Children. He was also a member of the Broadway Kids, with whom
he recorded several CDs. Raposo is famous as one of the five members of
the teen boy band Dream Street, created by Brian Lukow and Louie Baldonieri
alongside Matthew Ballinger, Frank Galasso, Chris Trousdale and Jesse
McCartney. The group's debut album, released on edel Records in July 2001,
was #1 on Billboard's Top Independent Albums Chart its first week of release
and has gone on to sell a million copies nationwide. He's now a solo pop
singer. He has done major television appearances, tour constantly across
the country, appearing on covers and in every popular magazine, selling
a million records, and building a solid fan-base who have grown with him
over the years. He has performed in many venues including Jones Beach
Amphitheater, Nassau Coliseum and House of Blues. Greg has released a
self-titled debut album of pop/rock songs, which debuted on the Billboard
Independent Albums chart at #40, and released a live concert DVD last
year. These were all incredible experiences for the young Raposo, but
to him they were stepping stones that would to lead him to now. He plays
a fender guitar. He has played guitar since he was 6 years old and drums
since he was 8.
Greg is one of those good looking dudes who are talented to sing and dance.
Reaching his mid 20s, he is getting more bulky muscles and looking more
man than a boy. I see his potential to be a big star in Hollywood movies.
If I were a producer, I would cast him as a leading man in the movies like
Saturday Night Fever or Grease with a contract provided that he lifts more
weights and comes out shredded and bare chested in all scenes.
